Eligibility Criteria & Domicile Rules
✔ Educational Qualification
- Trade Apprentices: Passed regular ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the respective trade from a recognized institute.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline from a recognized State Board or Institute.
- Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Full-time 4-year B.E. / B.Tech Degree in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University.
- Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices: Full-time 3-year B.Com or BBA Degree from a recognized University.
- Passing Year Criteria: Only regular candidates who passed in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply.
✔ Age Limit & Domicile Rules
- Age Limits: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years as per NLCIL rules.
- State Domicile: Candidates holding bonafide domicile of Rajasthan State only are eligible.
- Experience Clause: Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship training, or having 1 year or more of work experience, are strictly NOT eligible.
Quota & Reservation Rules
- For ITI Trade: 50% of seats are reserved for candidates who passed from Rajiv Gandhi ITI, Barsingsar (Bikaner), while the remaining 50% seats are open to all Rajasthan candidates.
- For Diploma & Graduate: 40% slots are reserved for Wards of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of Barsingsar Project, 10% for Wards of NLCIL Employees, and 50% seats are open competition across Rajasthan.
Selection Process
- Selection is strictly based on the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Com / BBA).
- If Grades/CGPA are awarded, marks will be converted to percentage as per University norms or multiplied by 10.
- In case of equal percentage at the cut-off level, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in merit.
