Age Limit & Category Relaxation

Salary Structure, Training & 9:1 Seniority Rule
1. Pay Scale & Emoluments
- During 1-Year Training: Placed in Pay Level-09 with Central DA, Company Accommodation / HRA, Conveyance, Medical benefits, and LTC.
- On Permanent Absorption: Absorbed as regular Assistant Manager in Pay Level-10.
2. One-Year Training Program Breakdown
- First 3 Months (Academic Training): Classroom and theoretical training conducted through NPTI or designated training institutes. Trainees must score a minimum of 65% marks in the academic exam.
- Next 9 Months (Field Training): On-the-job training in DTL's 400 kV / 220 kV substations and transmission offices with quarterly reviews.
- Final Assessment: A committee constituted by the Director (HR) conducts a final evaluation. Scoring at least 65% marks is mandatory for permanent absorption into Pay Level-10.
3. Inter-se Seniority Formula (9:1 Ratio)
Seniority in the Assistant Manager (Technical) cadre is determined in a 9:1 ratio between Electrical and Non-Electrical engineers. In the roster, for every 9 Electrical officers (ranked by merit), 1 Non-Electrical officer is placed. AM (Civil) constitutes a separate independent cadre.
Service Agreement Bond
Selected candidates must execute a mandatory Service Agreement Bond to complete the 1-year training and serve Delhi Transco Limited for a minimum duration of three (3) years following absorption:
