- Shortlisting & Merit List: Category-wise merit lists will be prepared for each discipline exclusively on the basis of valid GATE scores (2024, 2025, or 2026). Equal weightage is granted across all three eligible years.
- Tie-Resolution Protocol: If multiple candidates secure identical GATE scores, positions are decided sequentially by:
- First: Older year GATE score is ranked higher.
- Second: Candidate older in age is ranked higher.
- Third: Higher percentage/marks in the essential educational qualification.
