Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentice: ITI Passed in the respective trade from a Government recognized institute.
• Graduate/Technician Apprentice: Degree or Diploma in the respective Engineering or Non-Engineering discipline (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.).
• Passing Year: Only regular candidates who passed out in the last 5 years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, & 2026) are eligible.

Age Limit (As on 31 August 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per Government of Odisha guidelines.

Walk-in Interview & Document Verification Schedule

Candidates must report between 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the venue according to their respective trades/disciplines:

Walk-in Venue: Central Recreation Room, Trainees' Hostel, Sector-5, Rourkela-769002, Dist: Sundargarh (Odisha).

How to Apply

1. For ITI Candidates: Register first on apprenticeshipindia.org. Search for establishment "SAIL ROURKELA STEEL PLANT" and apply for your respective trade.
2. For Degree/Diploma Candidates: Register on nats.education.gov.in. Go to Establishment Requests -> Find Establishments -> Select "Steel Authority of India Limited, Rourkela Steel Plant" and apply.
3. Walk-in: After successfully applying on the portal, attend the walk-in process according to the date schedule with all necessary documents.

• Self-attested copy of Matriculation Certificate (for DOB verification)
