Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentices: Passed ITI (NCVT) in the respective trade from a government-recognized institute.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline from a recognized State Board/Institute.
• Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech Degree in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University.
• Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices: Full-time B.Com or BBA Degree from a recognized University.
• Passing Year Criteria: Only regular candidates who passed in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible.

Age Limit & Domicile Rules

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Domicile: Candidates belonging to the State of Rajasthan are ONLY eligible.
• Candidates with prior apprenticeship training or 1+ year work experience are NOT eligible.

Quota & Reservation Rules

• For ITI Trade: 50% of seats are reserved for candidates who passed from Rajiv Gandhi ITI, Barsingsar (Bikaner), while the remaining 50% seats are open competition.
• For Diploma & Graduate: 40% slots are reserved for Wards of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of Barsingsar Project, 10% for Wards of NLCIL Employees, and 50% seats are open competition.

Selection Process

• Selection will be strictly based on the percentage/marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech / B.Com / BBA).
• If Grades/CGPA are awarded, marks will be converted to percentage as per University rules or multiplied by 10.
• In case of equal percentage at the cut-off level, the candidate older in age will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold an Engineering Graduation degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering from a recognized Board/UGC/AICTE authority.
• Minimum Aggregate Marks: 60% aggregate marks (all semesters combined) for UR/OBC-NC candidates, and 50% aggregate for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
• Passing Timeline: Only regular candidates who completed their engineering graduation on or after 01 September 2023 are eligible.
• Candidates must be registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 web portal.
• Candidates with prior apprenticeship training or work experience of one year or more are NOT eligible.

Who Is NOT Eligible

• Candidates who acquired their Degree/Diploma before April 2022.
• Candidates appearing for final-year exams or awaiting results.
• Candidates currently pursuing M.E./M.Tech.
• Candidates who have already undergone, or are currently undergoing, Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961/1973, or have one year or more of experience from any institution as an Apprentice. Combining apprenticeship across institutions is not permitted.
• Candidates who have completed five years from the month/year of passing as per their Degree/Diploma certificate. If a candidate crosses this five-year window while empanelled or waitlisted, they will not be considered for training.

Other Eligibility Notes

• Where a university mentions both CGPA and percentage of marks on the certificate/marksheet, at least one criterion (either CGPA or percentage) must meet the eligibility norm.
• Conversion of CGPA into percentage is not permitted to determine eligibility, regardless of any conversion formula prescribed by the university, unless only percentage is mentioned in the certificate.
